Vice Chair - Ro'Vin Garrett

Ro’Vin Garrett began serving as the Brazoria County Tax Assessor-Collector  on  Jan  1,  2001.   The  daughter  of  former  County  Judge  E.  E.  "Red"  and  Dorothy Brewer, she was an employee of Brazoria County Tax Office for 16 years prior to being elected, with hands on experience in all areas of the county tax office working as Deputy Clerk, Administrative Assistant and Chief Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector.  Ro'Vin was certified as a Registered Texas Assessor-Collector in 1988 and currently holds the designation of Professional County Collector.

As Brazoria County Tax Assessor-Collector, Ro’Vin is responsible for the collection and remittance of taxes for 54 taxing jurisdictions within the county; motor vehicle registrations and title transfers for Texas DMV; registration of voters within the County; collection of fees for alcoholic beverage licenses and permits; Registration and titling of boat motor and vessels for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

Communication Officer - Lindsey Meadows
​Lindsey is the proud owner of Meadows Resources a HR consulting and virtual staffing agency that places virtual and remote workers with clients all over the world. She is also the founder of VA School, a virtual academy dedicated to the enrichment of virtual workers and clients. She has over a dozen years’ experience in HR, Recruiting, and Staffing with over five years in a virtual capacity. She is committed to developing female talent in technology, science, and mathematics based careers. She is also passionate about helping rural economies through the use of virtual talent. She is an active member of ABWA, WEWEN, and HAC. Lindsey is ABWA’s 2017 Woman of the Year, 2017 Protege Award Winner. She currently serves as the VP of Communications for WEWEN. She likes to spend time in her garden with her pets and family when not working.
Finance Officer - Desarie Hobbs

​Desarie joined ABWA in 2007 as a member of the Leading Women Express Network. She has held several positions on the LWEN executive board and was nominated LWEN’s Woman of the Year in 2014. Desarie is excited to join the HAC executive board and serve as Co-Chair of the 2018 Women Celebrating Women recognition luncheon. 
Desarie is the Sr. Corporate Analyst for C. C. Creations in College Station.   Before joining C. C. Creations in 2014 she was a mortgage loan officer for 16 years.                                                                         
Desarie graduated from Texas A & M University in 1996.  She is the proud mom to Harrison, 15, Samantha, 12, and numerous chickens, dogs and cows. 

Chair - Nicole Rincones
Nicole has served her entire career in the hospitality industry. She began as a front desk agent and worked her way to Director of Sales and eventually General Manager. Nicole began her involvement with ABWA in her local chapter Leading Women’s Express Network in 2014.  She quickly joined the board her second year of membership and has served each year since.  In 2016 she joined the board for Houston Area Council and is now in her second year as Chair of the Council.
