Greetings from the Council Chair

Message from the Chair —

Hello, Ladies! As the incoming President or Chair as it is now called, I would like to introduce myself and let you know that we are planning a fabulous year for 2008 and will need each chapter/networks help in making it a success. As you know if we succeed your members also succeed.

I need a copy of your roster emailed to me, or if it is available on your website please let me know. We have some wonderful events planned for our four meetings, along with some extra get togethers and plenty of contests. I will have a phamphlet at the January meeting and we will make sure everything is posted on the website. Also, I would love to have more participation from the chapters/networks in regards to their events, along with pictures so they can be posted to the website. We will be doing the directory again this year, we will have all the information available at the meeting in January. We are taking bids on the website/directory, if anyone has any questions please have them contact me.

The January, April, July and October EVENTS will be crowd pleasing and will be great networking events for your chapter. Please let your members know they will be hearing directly from HAC this year on our happenings by EVITE. We want to help build your chapters/networks, so let us know what we can do to help you. We are always open to suggestions and of course we can always use help.

Again please announce this at your next meeting and lets see how many members your chapter/network can have attending for the special contest. We are also adding more contests for the year and more participation from the delegates and attendees at the meetings. ALSO, tables are available for members with dinner paid and providing a door prize with a value of at least $20 they are FREE!!, yes you heard it right, they are free. There will be a limited number available so get your reservations in early. Members can also share tables if they do not need a full table. There is no change in price this year, it will be the same $28. If you have a guest that wants a table they will be required to pay $25 for the table, along with a door prize valued at $20 and also paying for dinner of $28.

You will be hearing from us in the next few weeks with the news of the January meeting and the contests available at the meeting. So, please let me know about your roster for your chapter/network so we can get them hooked up to receive the HAC info.
